The Ohio Commission on the Earned Income Tax Credit met 7 times in 2007. The Commission Co-Chairs are United States Senator Sherrod Brown and Ohio Treasurer Richard Cordray. There are currently 99 members on the Commission representing many communities and organizations.

We are always looking for new members and new coalitions to bring on board. If you know of someone who might have an interest in this Commission, please let us know and we will invite them to attend one of our meetings and join our team. Better yet, just bring them with you!

If you or the organization you represent have an event planned for the January 31, 2008 National Earned Income Tax Credit Day, please let us know. We would like to post the information about the events on our calendar and let everyone know what events are taking place around the state.

We need your help! We are always looking for interesting ideas and presentations for our meetings. We can use your help in this area. If you have any suggestions about future topics for presentations or agenda items, please feel free to forward them to Sue Pohlman ( sue.pohlman@tos.ohio.gov ) or Samantha Simpson ( samantha.simpson@tos.ohio.gov ). This is YOUR Commission and we encourage you to participate by creating the agendas and discussion topics, attending the meetings and joining in the discussions. We all learn from each other. We appreciate hearing your feedback about the meetings and the presentations and how we can better accommodate your needs and interests.
